1/03/07 - Updated PSS T&T Catalog coming!

Per our catalog chairman Phil Cayford, the new edition of the PSS Town and Type catalog is now at the printer and should be out very soon. Many thanks to those who got the work done to make this a reality! Many folks helped out, but Arnold Selengut, Ralph Kimble, Matt Stephenson, Phil Cayford, and Mike Gutman deserve our thanks.

8/11/02 - Convention Thanks:

Kudos to the Missouri Precancel Club for hosting a great Convention this year! Thanks for all your hard work in making this a success.

11/11/01 - A warning from Arnold Selengut:

It has been reliably reported that certain Michigan devices (listed below) are being used in an un-authorized manner away from the Post Office facilities where they are supposed to reside. All manner of stamps, including those in actively collected areas such as the Prexies, Liberties, Overrun Countries, National Parks, dollar denominations from obsolete series, Famous Americans, and many others, are offered for sale, may have been already precancelled, and may have been to collectors or to third parties for resale. The collecting public is advised that this is going on so that 1) they do not encourage the maker to continue the practice by buying the product directly, and 2) they do not buy the product at unwarranted high prices from secondary sources without knowing that these are recent creations.

The individual involved has been requested to discontinue the offensive practices. However, some of the product may have already entered the marketplace. The PSS Board of Governors has been informed and will be considering what action(s) need to be taken officially. In the meantime, Caveat Emptor.
